Jim Boyett, Partner and CEO

Jim founded Boyett Properties in 1978 in Miami, Florida. A graduate of the University of Miami with a M.A. in Architecture, Jim experienced success early in his career with the development of the Blue Lagoon Corporate Center. Upon its sale in 1989, Jim concentrated his efforts in Greenville, South Carolina and relocated his corporate offices here in 2007. Jim’s ability to envision successful commercial developments comes from decades of experience and a keen understanding of the market. Today, Jim directs and manages all aspects of Boyett Properties.


Renee Boyett, Partner and Executive Vice President

Renee holds a degree in Interior Design from the University of Florida. Her interior design work has been honored with several industry awards and has twice been featured in Florida Architecture Magazine. While living in Coral Gables, Renee served as President of Boyett Design Group, Inc., a full-service interior design and space planning firm specializing in high-end residences. Today, Renee is an integral part of reviewing the plans for all current and ongoing projects, as well as overseeing the design and vision of new projects. She also manages the office and coordinates all marketing, employee and client relations.


K. Kim Wilson – Vice President / Broker in Charge

Kim holds a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Auburn University. He has over 30 years of Commercial and Residential Real Estate experience, including brokerage, development, and property management. He spent 20 successful years as a commercial Broker in Miami, Florida prior to relocating to Greenville, SC in 2002. He was Director of Marketing for Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company’s South Florida regional office , and then served as Director of Commercial Properties at the Prudential Florida Realty Company for Miami – Dade County.


Kimberly Coleman, Controller

With a M.B.A. in Business and Accounting from Clemson University and a B.A. from Furman University, Kimberly brings a wide-range of accounting skills to the Boyett Properties team. Kimberly has owned and operated her own accounting business, as well as worked for such reputable companies as Rescom Construction, Beacon Blankets and Adidas America — just to name a few. Her current responsibilities include all aspects of the controllership function, from preparing monthly financial statements to reconciling accounts. She specializes in streamlining systems, analyzing data and achieving cost savings.
