Boyett Properties is a full service commercial real estate firm that was founded by Jim Boyett in 1978. The company has developed a variety of projects including office parks, industrial buildings, flex buildings, residential neighborhoods, and retail shopping centers. The Boyett Properties story began when Jim Boyett and his father, Van Boyett Sr., saw the potential in a 186-acre parcel of land adjacent to the Miami International Airport. The site was surrounded by 400 acres of lakes known to the Miami community as Blue Lagoon. Boyett Properties developed the site into a prestigious corporate park known as Blue Lagoon Corporate Center. The master-planned park has been home to such notable companies as Prudential, Canon, the Discovery Channel, Federal Express, Estee Lauder, Hilton Hotel, Hotel Sofitel, Sony, Mass Mutual and others. 

Boyett Properties began developing in Greenville, SC in 1994 and permanently moved in 2007. The company is now lead by Jim’s son, Van Boyett, who joined the company in 2022 to grow the development business. Boyett Properties is focused on development opportunities in the Southeast, management and leasing of their properties, as well as brokerage in its land division.
